A Facebook user falsely attributes a quote to Irakli Kobakhidze in social networks. According to the publication, Mr Kobakhidze stated: “Everyone who criticises the government will be punished in the future. People need to learn to obey the authorities!” This is a fake quote.

It is not confirmed by openly available sources that Irakli Kobakhidze is the author of the aforementioned quote. Such a statement cannot be traced to any media platform or Mr Kobakhidze’s official Facebook page. Therefore, the disseminated quote is in fact invented.
